It's a shame when this sort of stuff happens and there are no takers, but it is what it is, unfortunately. We need to keep this sort of thing in mind when we see repurposed or parted out machines... nobody steps up but everybody piles on bitching when these parting/ repurposing things happen.

I agree with Inigo, if it were in my part of the country (Midwest), I would rescue it. There has got to be someone out east who can save this.

I would take it, but I just gave away MY BC-34. What you need to do is to find someone outside of the hobby to get interested in it and take it. It would help to include some DDs you no longer want with it. It would be a great entry level machine. The problem is you might get someone who thinks he can get it to play his Grateful Dead albums on! That actually happened to me! I might suggest Craigslist.

I'm happy to report I found a nice home for the BC-34. A gentleman is going to display it in his piano shop and eventually plans to use it in a bed and breakfast.
