I've decided against buying a few machines for that reason alone. There may be new felt that looks like the old, but I haven't seen it yet, and the new felt sticks out like a sore thumb to my eye.

I have a box of turntables I use just to salvage the old felt, but some shades of green are difficult to find.

True. I got a really nice Diamond Disc A-200 and the felt is spattered with something that ate away the color, but the 80% or so that is left is a bright green with a hint of blue. Can't find that color or texture of material so I am leaving it on even though it is ugly with the bleached areas.
