I've got nickel and gold, but no bronze. did they make brass ones in that finish?

Brian I had seen a couple in the past , but again I might had mistaken an old warned nickel for one , :o :oops:

Is this what you mean? The front has a kind of antiqued bronze finish. I am afraid its not for sale but I am curious what machine it would of come off.

That bronze finish was used in my Victor 10-35. Probably other models used it, too. The Baumbach books should have those details.

Yes, but the 10-35 was introduced YEARS after the end of production of the brass Orthophonic sound boxes. Brass reproducers WERE made in the bronze finish, but they are quite scarce, as they were only offered on the early production (seamed tone arm) combinations FLORENZA, ALHAMBRA I and ALHAMBRA II, as I recall. I've only ever owned one of these reproducers, which came on my ALHAMBRA II, which is now but a cinder.

My carriage house, in which most of the collection was stored, burned in March of '09. I lost hundreds of phonographs and radios, thousands of cylinders and many tens of thousands of disc records . the damaged records alone filled two twenty yard roll-offs.
