And I confess, if it weren't for the fact that the pics aren't the greatest (nothing really of the playing compartment for example) and the seller hasn't had a feedback in about 2 years, I would have hit the buy it now button and hired a shipper. OK, I actually DID hit the buy it now button and stared at the "confirm" button after. Something told me not to so I decided against it. I really do hope this is legit. I'd love to own one of these machines one day, but I'm pretty content with what I have found in the past year!

Now we all have to wait 7 days to see what it goes for.

What was the "Buy It Now" price since we all missed it?

I put a bid on it but I doubt I'll get it based on its rarity and uniqueness as being one of the earliest of Victrolas. Wonder what it will end up at??????

Frankly, I'm amazed that someone didn't pull the trigger at $1299. I came very close myself!

I wanted to very badly, but we're just starting our Winter season -- we've only played one fair and our second fair isn't until next weekend. In two or three weeks I'll be rolling in it, but gotta pay bills and debts first. It's been over forty years since I've seen one this affordable and my timing for buying it was off by just a few weeks. DRAINPIPE!!!
