I hate I missed the "buy it now". It is only a couple hours drive from me. I have been in contact with the seller and will keep a close eye on it since it is so close and not halfway across the country.

I'm going to be busy when this closes. Would someone please report on the result?

Indeed a sign of the times. I was the underbidder. I just couldn't justify anything over $2k once shipping would have been factored in. Somebody got a nice machine at a decent price!

Anyone going to fess up? :)

I would never be able to consciously bid over what the buy it now price was. I'd kick myself forever.

with all due respect, that's just foolish.

I'm wondering whether this machine will end up at twice the price at union or wayne or some other show now.

I did not end up with it even though it would have been a breeze to pickup. That's what usually happens, I can't seem to buy things that are close by and the only investment I would have in it over the purchase price would be a tank of gas. If I did not already own one, I would have probably been willing to bid a little more, but my bid did not make it.
