Looking for a caster wheel for a Edison C-19

Post by Microtrol »

Hi All,
I'm looking for a caster wheel for a Edison C-19 Diamond Disk. I have 3 good ones but the other is hopelessly broken. Thanks,

Brandt

I've got some extra casters around here. Any chance of a photo of one of your good ones? Jerry

Brandt,

From the looks of them, you have castors that used wheels made out of a dense felt used by Edison in some of its early disc machines. I have them on my A250. As far as I have been able to tell they have not been made by anybody in a very long time. I got a couple of old ones from Great Lakes Antique Phonograph (George Vollema), so you might try him if Jerry doesn't have them.
