Thanks much! I was very grateful and fortunate to get this machine. It was a craigslist find and the woman was very kind to me in coming down on the price.Edisonfan wrote:Nice machine! I've never seen a pre dog Victor, before?

Good eye, that is the classic Long Play grill, but is a 3-C as seen in Featured Phonograph № 14.JohnM wrote:Nice E! And do I espy a 2-C Long Play in the background?

Close only counts in horseshoes, hand grenades, and Edison Long Plays, 2-C and up!phonophan79 wrote:Good eye, that is the classic Long Play grill, but is a 3-C as seen in Featured Phonograph № 14.JohnM wrote:Nice E! And do I espy a 2-C Long Play in the background?

Dean,
Beautiful machine! It seems to have survived the years with relative ease!

John

Thanks for sharing this nice machine!
It can't have been used much in its past life, the motor looks immaculate.
Beautiful finish as well.
Every time I see these machines with a rigid tonearm & the horn attached directly to the soundbox, I can't help but thinking on the brutal pressure & wear on the records played

Well... I'm not thrilled about parting with her, but I sold her.
So I made one last video, enjoy.

Thanks for sharing your Vic E. When did Victor change from the leather elbow to the threaded brass elbow?
