I had been looking for a copy of "Oh By Jingo" for quite awhile. Well, I found my own copy on, an Edison Blue Amberol. I recently recived a phone call from an antique dealer in Loudon Co. VA. She told me that one of her dealers, of antique phonographs, had just brought in some Blue Amberol Cylinders. So naturally, I ran over to check them out. While looking through the small box of cylinders. I found a copy of "Oh By Jingo" the version with the dialouge in the middle. So naturally I bought it, plus a few others. Two other blue amberol's and one Gold Moulded and an Early Brown Wax Columbia.

Just remember, when you stop looking for something, you will eventually find it.

I officially announce that I am no longer looking for a Victrola with a Japanese Lacquer finish. I am also no longer looking for an exposed horn Victor Talking Machine.

I would like to add that I am official stopping my search for all graphophone treadle type machines, edison "improved" phonograph of 1888 with the spectacle device, and the auxetophone. Oh yes, and I am also not looking for any original early tinfoil phonos either. (Just for the record!)

I'll add one more item to the official not looking for it list & that is Jelly Roll Morton piano solos on the Victor batwing or scroll label.

You would not believe, the things I find, when I stop looking. A hard back copy of 2001: A Space Odyssey. Is an example. Wandered into a book store, not intent on looking or buying a copy. However I did find it and bought it. Same thing goes for everyday stuff too. Car keys, cell phone, check book. It's just weird how this sort of thing happens.
