SOLD: VICTOR XI TABLETOP

Post by PHONOMIKE »

I have for sale this nice little Victor Victrola XI tabletop. Victor made over 800,000 of the XI but only a little over 10,000 were tabletops making this little guy a bit of a rarity.

It plays long and strong and is very quiet. The gold plating is in good condition with little wear. Comes with gold Victrola key and needle cup.

Cons: Only has 1 gold motor board bolt, a couple chips on the motor board where it looks like someone took it out and put it back in a few times, a couple scratches under the lid where something rubbed it and a small stain/clear run on the back of the lid. Someone might have done a repair in the past but not certain. You should be able to see them in the pictures. All said none of this takes away from the beauty of the machine.

Asking $XXX and pick up from Stanton's in November is preferred.

PM me if you're interested or if you have any questions or need more pictures.

I will be listing other machines in my collection so keep an eye out for them.

Mike

I don't think you were supposed to remove the price, as per the FS guidelines above.

Almost a year later, I finally finished cleaning this machine up. I'm happy with the outcome.
Thanks Mike, Gregg and Darold for helping me with this. This forum is full of great folks!

Very nice job. It looks great. I like the early X, XI and XII table top machines with the bullet brakes and female cranks.

Nice machine, and great job restoring it. Don't forget, the early VV IX also had a female crank and a bullet brake, too. These are hard machines to find.
