Recording tests now up on my website

Post by Chuck »

Just wanted to announce this to anyone who might
want to hear a few of my recording tests that I make
on every blank before it goes out the door.

A group of these tests are now available to be heard
on my website http://www.richardslaboratories.com

Click on the "recording tests" section.

There, you can hear a variety of different recorders
including number 289270. That recorder is special because it has the Swiss Jewel Co. cutter in it which has the tapered hole in the end of it.

These tests also each mention the ambient temperature
at the time of the recording.

I think you guys need to listen to these. They contain, tests of Chuck's recorder rebuilding capabilities, not to mention the very fine recording surface and balanced formula. He mentions the date, time, temperature, diameter, recorder number used, stylus information, and formula phenomena and side notes.

Chuck I have just heard your test recordings (I have only posted a few times on this forum so far, but I am a frequent reader). Fantastic results, especially the articulation of the voice. Using different recorders gives the test a real world scenario, as there must be so many variables involved.
