The GEM C I recently purchased has a spring problem and needs replacing. The motor is spotless and nothing is missing. I would really like to replace this spring myself rather than throw the machine in the mail system and risk it getting damaged I did a search on the forum and see there is a book by Mike Fields on this very topic. This book is out of print and I cannot find a copy anywhere, even Amazon I've played around with motors but never with a small open spring like the GEM. Any suggestions thoughts would be appreciated. Cheers

Bill, it appears that it can be ordered from the CLPGS at the following URL: http://www.clpgs.org.uk/reference-series.html

If you are located in the USA, Ron Sitko sells these.
