Re: WANTED: Edison Gem Model D
I have a Model D "Maroon" Gem with original paint. The reproducer is a Steve Medved rebuilt H. It comes with a choice of an original two piece Gem horn that has been poorly repainted or a reproduction two piece Gem horn. It's in my trailer for the APS show but it is available. Sorry but no photos until it's on the table at APS. The price is $795.

The Maroon Gems are keepers - love them compared to the black ones.

That's about the going rate for them, if not more. The D (maroon) and the 2 earliest model A's (drip pan & branded case) fetch the highest prices of the GEM range.hearsedriver wrote:I appreciate that Jerry but, thats a little out of my price range. Good luck with the sale!

I have no doubt and Jerry has always been fair with his pricing. I can only spend what I have and am in no hurry. I can add a nice morning glory horn at a later time.

Re: WANTED: Edison Gem Model D

Not to argue but I don't recall ever seeing a Model E Gem at Union or any show. That's about the going rate for them, if not more. The D (maroon) and the 2 earliest model A's (drip pan & branded case) fetch the highest prices of the GEM range.
