Insurance

Post by EdisonWizard »

I'm moving soon, finally found a new house and put an offer on. I was thinking what if something happened to my collection, whether in the move or if there was ever a flood or they got stolen. I probably wouldn't be able to replace what I have. Do any of y'all have insurance on your collections? If so, how did you do it?

On the advice of several friends, I have been using https://collectinsure.com/ for several years. Easy to work with, relatively inexpensive. A lot less hassle than with my homeowner's insurance at State Farm. But I have never had to make a claim (fortunately!) so I can't speak to how well it goes if there is a serious loss, God forbid...
