Motor: LOOK'S LIKE SOMETHING FROM A CLOCK

Interesting Facts: KEY WIND , VERY LIGHT IN WEIGHT. DON'T KNOW MUCH ABOUT THIS MACHINE. ANY HELP WOULD BE NICE.

It is a cute little machine. I'd guess it's from the early 20's but that would be just a guess. Hopefully someone else can give you more information on it.

It's a Thorens Bijou from around 1910. They cost 14/6 in UK, and the soundbox was known as the "Superior". The picture shown is from the 1910 catalogue, but the Bijou was listed as early as 1907.
The motor no doubt is based on their music box motors.

I would have never guessed 1907-1910 era for this machine.

I was going to say, the motor doesn't look like the majority of phono motors... still I think it's a cute little machine!

The sound isn't bad for a machine that look's cheap.
