Selling part of my collection of 78's

Post by bart1927 »

I'm thinning out my collection in order to make room for new acquisitions. Most records I'm selling are records that I have multiple copies of, or records that don't really fit in my collection. Pricing is competitive, almost all items are "Buy It Now". I grade very conservatively and I provided clear photographs of all items. Only catch is that I'm based in the Netherlands, so shipping costs may be a little high for potential bidders outside Europe. I have about 200 records for sale, and I'm in the process of listing them. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

I forgot to mention that the records I have for sale are mostly 1920's dance bands (Marican and British) and some vocal work from the teens and twenties by artists such as Billy Murray, Marion Harris, the Peerless Quartet, etc.

I just bought a bunch, but see my PM about eBay and the combined shipping issues.

Hi George, the records are on their way. In case anybody else is interested, I've been listing several new 78's. I plan to put up 10 new listings every day. It's not just dance band records I have for sale, there's also plenty of early vocal records. Peerless Quartet, Billy Murray, Aileen Stanley, etc. I know I should post pictures in this section, but since I have so many items up for auction it would mean posting in the neighbourhood of 400 pictures.

I've been listing several new records over the last couple of days. And I'm listing more records every day. There's a lot of dance band records, but also acoustic stuff like Billy Murray, the Peerless Quartet, etc. Grading is conservative, prices are competitive. Just bought a nice lot of 12 from you. Prices do seem competitive! Looking forward to them!

Just shamelessly kicking up my own topic to let you know that I've been listing many more records during the last couple of months. Prices are low, and grading is conservative: https://www.ebay.nl/sch/heer_bommel/m.h ... 7675.l2562

Once again I'm kicking my own topic, because I've been listing several new records the last few days, with many more to come! Unfortunately I had to increase the prices because Ebay now also charges sales commission on the shipping costs, which basically means that, especially when shipping cheaper records to other countries, the costs may exceed the revenues.

But if you see anything you like, feel free to PM me, if you buy directly from me discounts are possible.
