 Post subject: WANTED: Oak wood hoop for Victor spearpoint horn

I am restoring a Victor oak horn and need about 24" of the
curved oak hoop that binds the oak paneled ends. I believe
it measures 22" in diameter complete. Don Geffel can't help with
this. See photo.

Thx for looking through your wood parts etc.

You can make one out of old oak... it's a straight piece with a half round shape that is steam or hot water bent to match...

This is a long shot but have you considered contacting Eduardo from Peru. He makes reproduction horns.
