Thanks for the post Larry!I cant wait to get this in from you! Going on my Pathé VII!! Im an East Coast guy who has only been a collector for a short time but a lifetime phonograph lover! Grew up around my older brothers Vics!! Thanks again!!Larry Hawes wrote:This is silly. After selling over 200 of these do you not think I know the real thing. I purchased these from the seller many years ago. You perhaps have heard of him since I also assisted in placing his entire collection of cylinders and discs in the Library at University of California Santa Barbara after his death. Visit this site and move on. https://www.library.ucsb.edu/special-co ... -pa-mss-78. Done. If you do not like the stylus I pay for return no charges to buyer.

I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.

Considering getting one.
Will it work OK on my 78-tone arm attachment/reproducer-needle, on my Edison C-19?

Re: Sapphire ball stylus needle 78rpm Pathé For real?
It will, if your adapter can play verticals. This usually requires a swivel joint so that the diaphragm faces either forward or downwards. If your adapter does not have that kind of joint, you can't play vertical cut records properly and the stylus will do you no good.JAR wrote:Considering getting one.

This is what I have, and it does swivel when you adjust the screw.

That adapter should work just fine, in the position shown, for vertical cut records of all types.
