The fact that the machine has been converted from spring to electric power (the winding handle escutcheon can be seen in the video) may affect the sale price, but such conversions were commonplace when the availability of mains electricity in the UK was not yet universal. Machines were also converted from electric to spring power when their owners moved away from the mains.
Are those needle containers original? Mr Ginn would have preferred one of his glass jars containing a dessicant to keep his fibre needles dry.
