Hi there from New Zealand
Was cleaning out one of our old sheds and came across this little gem in the back of a cabinet, so went in search of information and was led to this amazing site. Comes in its original box, with a spare sanding insert, instructions and complete little sharpener. The rubber on the wheel is worn in two places.
I do not have a need for this item and would rather it go to someone who will appreciate, as it will just sit in my cabinet. I am thinking of selling it, and was wondering if someone could please point me in the right direction, to get a evaluation of value and best place/site to sell it?
Regards..Tania

Re: Thorn Needle Sharpener
In the UK, where some people will buy anything with the HMV logo on it, these sharpeners usually sell for about £50 upwards depending on condition. I sold one not so long ago for £55, boxed but with the needle screw missing. The buyer was aware of this fault, but only wanted it as a display item.
Ebay is probably your best resource for selling. There is a much rarer boxed "unused" Columbia version of this sharpener currently for sale on UK Ebay with a Buy It Now price of £129.99, but I do not think the seller will be trampled in the rush to purchase!
