Please forgive my videography, I already know I suck at it.
I received 4 very late electrically recorded Diamond Disc records* recently, from an incredibly magnanimous cousin, and would like to share one of the 8 selections: N0. 52607-R; Frankie Marvin and His Guitar performing "A High Silk Hat And A Walking Cane", played on my DUAL 1229 using a SHURE M91E with N78S stylus wired for vertically cut groove; playback is in mono.
Sorry, at this point, I don't think I'll be recording any of these 4 records using my C 250...just because of their obvious rarity. I'll try to record the other records as time allows.
I hope y'all enjoy this.
Happy Holidays!
Fran

Ah... another Dual owner. I have a 1009, with a cartridge sled set up for DDs the same way. Being able to slide the sleds in and out easily is a great feature of these changers. I have a GE VR mono cart on one sled with an 003 stylus for 78s, a sled with a Pickering Stereo and conical stylus for LPs, and a sled with another Pickering and conical stylus cross wired for DDs.

You aren't kidding about the ease!
I have 3 or 4 sleds around with carts mounted for various applications, it makes swapping cart/stylus combos so simple. I also use a Miracord 10H setup dedicated for 78's, fed through an old Kodak film sound amp (12AX7/6L6) that I rebuilt earlier this year, in my little backroom mad scientist lab.
...and another Jukebox/PA amp (a ROWE "Customusic" 6EU7/6973), on the bench waiting for the holidays to end...
Happy Holidays!
