Today's project. Columbia reproducer conversion

This is my project for today having digging my Mini Lathe out of storage.

Columbia Business Machine reproducer converted with a scrap Edison reproducer top. Now a nice Lyric Reproducer ( Patents applied for ) :D

Speedway (Homier) 7X10 Bought about 15 years ago on Ebay for $199.00.
Just ordered a 5" Chuck to replace the lame 3" that it came with.

Thanks for posting the photo of your mini-lathe.
Just got a nice paper catalog in the mail yesterday
from http://www.littlemachineshop.com

They sell mini-lathes in several sizes, mini-mills,
lots of parts and tools. They have many chucks for
these, including a few nice 4 jaw ones.

Your 7 x 12 lathe looks a lot like the Chinese
lathes made by Seig. $200 was a very good price!

Right now Harbor Freight stocks and sells the Seig C2,
which is advertised as 7 x 10, but it's actually more
like 7 x 8.5 Selling new for just under $600.

Anyway, not to hijack your thread here and back on
topic, nice work on the scrap Edison reproducer top
making it useful to fix the Columbia.
