Columbia Grafonola on Long Island for $100.00

Post by OldRestorer »

This is for sale on Long Island on a site you have to be a member of so no link. The seller says the unit winds and plays but there is not really any sound. There could be a roll of $100.00 bills hidden in it... Or it could have a broken Diaphragm.

If anyone wants it please let me know.

It's a typical Columbia Model 50 from about 1917-20. The price isn't too bad. It looks like it needs a good cleaning. Whoever looks at it, make sure it winds and plays. Nice machine for the price.

I KNOW I could get it for less. Justina is a shop owner and I buy from her often. I just really don't have room for it.

Someone buy it... please

You mean you still have a television? Bah! Take that modern abomination down to the charity shop, get a Cabinet that Matches, and have a real entertainment center!

Well,
I found TV to be one of the worst possible inventions. TV used to be about entertainment and now it is all doom and gloom. I dont read news papers and I dont have friends on facebook who are at all political.

I need a house in the woods,
Just me and my wif..... Just me,

:)

P.S. Someone needs to buy this thing... I have an appointment near the shop today... UGh... :)
