This is an excellent Arentino Phonograph. It has the proper reproducer and metal diaphragm. The horn is in good shape with a slight bending of the petals and some deterioration of the paint. The decal is in very good condition. If you expand the photo you can see it very well. The motor had been striped and cleaned. The case has the original finish and the paint on the horn is original. It plays well and maintains speed.
The turntable is original and has the original medallion in the center that is held on with two pins that are part of the casting. The swagged end of the pins has been removed and a threaded hole is in the spindle shaft. There is a spindle end that threads into the spindle that allows it to play a regular 78 rpm record. When you unscrew the spindle end, you can place the Arention medallion back in place and play an Arentino record. This is a very useful adaptation.
The phonograph comes with two Arentino records (one two sided and one single sided.)
The shipping and insurance cost will be paid by the buyer. I have not shipped a large horn before, so we will need to discuss that. I can bring it to the Wayne show and may be able to bring it to union for a fee.
The cost is $550 to be paid with a check or Paypal-"Friends and family".
If you have any questions, email me at kend@lemur.org. I can provide additional pictures.

Re: FORSALE: Arentino Phonograph - $550.00
The crank looks like something off of a Columbia or Client machine. Did this crank come with the machine? On the reproducer, is it mica or aluminum? It's hard to tell. Most of these machines had a tinted green aluminum diaphragm, the Busy bee had a red tinted diaphragm, and the Harmony has a blue tinted diaphragm. Also, this should have a green horn. The Aretino had a green horn, Busy Bee red, and Harmony, blue. I'm not knocking your machine, it's a nice one. I want to let other Forum members know which horn goes with each machine.

Harvey is correct. Aretino's are usually green

Wow, I haven't seen one of these for sale in a long time. Looks good, and price is very reasonable, even with a red colored horn, which otherwise appears correct. I will definitely consider it, particularly if you'll bring it to the Wayne show.
