Strange Italian Cough Drop Ad (Phono related)

When I found this ad I tried to figure out what it was for... finally it dawned on me that it was for cough drops.

Thanks for the translation... I never knew there was a product (cough drops) to improve the sound of your phonograph... :roll:

Given that the phonograph shown has no turntable, tonearm, or reproducer, it probably doesn't sound good anyway!

Very strange--I just can't figure out why a gramophone would be ejecting cough drops from its horn that way. :?

I thought they were going DOWN the horn. Volume control? Noise filter?
