Parts needed for Orthophonic portable Victrola
Record container
Lid support

Are these readily available or should I pass on a machine missing these?

Record container for a 2-35: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Victor ... SwA3dYk2Or

The seller has just about all the pieces of a 2-35 cabinet, but I see no lid support. You might ask.

That's from a VV-35 ( http://www.victor-victrola.com/35.htm )

The VV-2-35 has a green painted metal record holder, with the lid support soldered to it, as shown in the illustration on this page -- http://www.victor-victrola.com/2-35.htm

Oops! You're correct of course. I thought the seller's description was his shorthand way of saying 2-35. Thanks for bringing that up! I should have thought through that a little more.
