For an electric batwing label ? Yes, I suppose so. Recorded in Sept. 1925. Wasn't it in autumn of '25 they went to the scroll label...

I see upon closer inspection - that #20127 just says VICTOR on top, NO batwing.

^ Just a common 'rings' label Victor, post Scroll era. The recording itself could be an earlier one that was re-pressed, sometimes.

Well, I would think that all new records would be Scroll by the time of Victor Day in November of 1925. Possible they might have wanted to use old label stock till it ran out. Just taking guesses...gramophone-georg wrote:I don't know, but I'm sitting here looking at a Ted Weems/ Jean Goldkette USA Batwing pressing no. 20033.Wolfe wrote:For an electric batwing label ? Of course batwings did survive for longer for the limited number of acoustic records that remained in the Victor catalog.
