SOMEBODY SHOULD JUMP ON THIS!

Post by Zwebie »

(Not mine)

Rare 1904 Edison ICS Cabinet!
I'm not into Edison Machines, but I know that this is an uncommon piece.
First one I have ever seen, and it appears to be in excellent shape.

Crikey! That's a rare bird. Too bad they've separated the ICS-labeled Recorder and are offering it in a different eBay auction:

Very interesting. I've never seen anything like it. We will be in Denver in the morning. It's probably not for me but still a good value and very interesting. Jerry Blais

Congratulations to whomever purchased these two items!
Hopefully the same person, and they can be kept together.

If it was someone on the Forum, could you please post this rare setup in the "Featured Phonograph" section.

Cheers, Bob S. :D

My sources tell me that the recorder and cabinet were kept together and will be preserved at the home of an Edison phonograph enthusiast who may agree to doing a featured phonograph posting on the outfit.

I'm glad nobody jumped on it. That could have caused serious damage!
