Greetings.
I have an Edison b19
I need to loosen the collar screws on the weights shaft of the governor. The screws do not want to move and I do not want to force them.
How do I free them?

You could try soaking the governor in WD40.

There are a number of products designed to help loosen screws and bolts. PB Blaster and Liquid Wrench come to mind, but there are others.

With dinky screws I have used my old Weller soldering gun to heat them pretty darn hot. After cooling I use penetrating oil and let it sit for days.works muchly.
