Anyone Need New Columbia Model S Cylinder Shaver Blades?

Post by New Sterling »

I mailed the cutter blade from my Columbia Model S shaver to a lapidary in New York City named A. Allan Goldman Inc. for sharpening. They advise that they can make new cutters patterned after my original for $50 each if at least two are ordered.Does anyone need these? If so, let me know, and I will let them keep mine long enough to copy. You may call them directly to discuss. Their telephone number is 212-869-5370; ask for Danny.

Are the dimensions different from Edison shavers? If not, I wouldn't mind a spare or two.

The Columbia S cutter is about the same width as the Edison Dictaphone cutter, but it is longer than the Edison.

Would they be a source of new cutters for Edison recorders?
