I could not find a good reference to see when my vic 1 was made. Any quick references?

And excuse my ignorance... But did most of them come with eight or ten inch platters? This one has an eight.

The early Victor I had an 8" turntable. Is this the small cased one? I'm sure it has a bullet brake. I think your machine came out around 1906-1908. The early larger case one had an 8" turntable, also. In 1909-1910, Victor came out with the 10" pressed steel turntable.

My great grandfather had that model and for a while I did as well, another member here probably still has it. It was dated under the turntable as 1904. It had an 8 inch table and usually wouldn't make it though a whole side of that.
