New Electrola Project - Victor 9-18

Post by gemering »

I was recently able to acquire this Victor 9-18 from a CL ad.
My brother and I had to make a path out of a spare bedroom through the living room to get it out of an old Victorian mansion in Essex County, NJ.
It will hopefully be a rewarding project.
The purchase price in 1928 was $925.
The radio is a Radiola 64.
The speaker is an 8 inch electro-dynamic.

Nice project with good extras!
I'll take the Santa record duster off your hands! ;)
Good luck!

What an amazing find! Somehow, I can imagine your brother asking if you couldn't consider collecting stamps or thimbles after you hauled it out of the house

After moving two 10-50's in the last two years, this one wasn't too bad, but definitely much heavier than it looks!
