Not mine. I know nothing about this one, but the quality looks very good. Maybe some forum member could shed some light on this one. Great expression and the glass eyes are a nice touch. He sure would look nice sitting in front of a horned machine.

It is, as you say, a very nice nipper. Possibly the nicest I have seen. Is he a bit thinner than usual - probably just my imagination ? Maybe a young puppy version

That's a very recent reproduction and should have a low price.

As reproductions go, it's the only one that I like. It doesn't have the hound look. I may go for it anyway. Does anyone have any background on these? Value as a decorative piece?
Thanks
Thanks

If you really like it $199 is OK but a little bit heavy it isn't at all original

I have this same Nipper that I bought about 10 years ago, for $35.00. It is make from a hard, fragile resin. Yes, it looks good, but the price is very steep. For $199.00, or cheaper, you can get a decent, original paper mache' Nipper. Be patient, and you'll find one.

Thanks to all for the feedback. I am not very knowledgeable when it comes to Nippers. Still, a nice looking figure for display, (most realistic anyway), but too steep for me I guess, so I will pass.

There was a 11" pliable plastic Nipper at Orlando for only $85. It's an authentic Nipper and seems like a better value to me. The next size up is even a better size to display with a machine. Jerry B.
