Nor for any others of us, as well, at that ridiculous price!

What is a dance reproducer? How is different then a standard reproducer?

It's basically an Edisonic reproducer with a flange to try and reduce vibrations to make it just a little louder.

The Dance reproducer used a spring-loaded diaphragm and stylus bar to increase volume.

Didn't they also bump up the weight
significantly on both the Edisonic and the Dance
reproducers as compared to the Standard DD ones?

I seem to recall these being a part of
the whole "weight, weight, and more weight"
phenomenon which ultimately culminated in
so much weight that not even a diamond could stand it
for very long!

Thank goodness for vacuum tubes...!
