Not as refined as the copies from Wizard, but I also occasionally offer a version of the Advertising cylinder as well.
PM if interested. If there is enough interest I'll set the mold up and make a few copies. Cost would be $27.50 incl. media mail shipping in US. Paypal friends and family please.
No prepayment...just PM if you are interested.
Not sure how to embed a youtube vid, so link is below

That looks like the early Electrophone label and has the details handwritten. Is the cylinder record wax or plastic, and what color is the record?AmberolaAndy wrote:Well folks, here it is...the most EXPENSIVE record I have ever bought in my 11 years of collecting!

It’s this light brown color. I think it might be wax. The transfer is kinda faint and there is a bit of surface noise. I guess this was early on and they haven’t worked out all the kinks yet..52089 wrote:That looks like the early Electrophone label and has the details handwritten. That is indeed wax. Thanks for posting that. I was not aware that they had issued it on wax. I've only ever seen the plastic ones.

I guess my copy got worn or it was just really early on when it comes to these repros. And the transferring process hadn’t been perfected yet.52089 wrote:That is indeed wax. Thanks for posting that. I was not aware that they had issued it on wax. I've only ever seen the plastic ones.

That really is very faint.
The later (plastic) Electrophone version, as well as Wizard and Vulcan, are far louder.

This is indeed a rarity and it is one of the really early electrophones recorded on a Miller Morris Blank.
After this period they ordered a big wax and made their own blanks with a different spiral core.
The advertising record has been made on and off since then on all the material formats, in red PVC, Black injection moulded and the current resin moulded versions.
I am just about to set the latest working mould up today and make a few more.
