For those interested I've just posted a new video on my MusicBoxBoy channel on YouTube featuring an early Edison Spring Motor Phonograph in my collection. Thanks, in advance, for watching and accepting its content (warts and all!). As with all of my videos it was made spur of the moment. My wife was out of town for a few hours.

So now we know why you never answered anyone who asked what became of the Spring Motor machine you found at an "antique store".edisonplayer wrote:Glad I could help you rescue it,Doug.edisonplayer

Thank you Steve and Gary for your comments on the video and the phonograph. It was a challenging and enjoyable project for me over the winter months.

dear fellowcollector, what a nice phonograph and what a nice story. I also visited and finally subscribed your YouTube channel. I am a gramophone and disc collector but it all made me fall in love with phonographs...! Very very interesting
