I always admired the beauty of the Brunswick Cortez, but when I saw this....Well it's just sad. Maybe someone with wood working skills much greater than mine could save it, but it's likely going to the dump. If anyone can save it, that would be fantastic.

That is so sad. If I weren't just out of the hospital, I would look at it. Kinda pricey for condition.

I agree, it's a little pricey for it's current condition but I believe almost any machine is worth saving.

Speaking of pricey, how about his records for 10 bucks a piece?

Very saveable from the pictures--why is replacing veneer considered "Advanced" woodworking? You get some new, find some big clamps, stick it on and refinish the thing (which it needs anyway), have your new pieces made up for whatever trim has doubtless fallen off--and you're good!
It's really a nice machine. If the big spruce horn is intact then it should be a good project.

With all due respect, it's gonna take a lot of veneer to completely replace the left side door. Not seeing it in any of the photos.VanEpsFan1914 wrote:Very saveable from the pictures--why is replacing veneer considered "Advanced" woodworking? Use the parts to make another one more complete. Way too much work to bring this one back.

All depend on how much you want to bring it back - this could easily be brought to playing condition, which is the best part.

Did anyone ever get this? The ad is still up and the price is low. Likely gone already but who know.

Send a message to the owner. It's still up and since it's been up so long he might negotiate with you. Looks like it has legs!Mormon S wrote:Did anyone ever get this? The ad is still up and the price is low. Likely gone already but who know.
