That's really nice!
The rigid arm Victor and the Pathéphone are nice too. Don't see either of those everyday...

A strong Craftsman style here...
I do not know what it is, I just saw it on Craigslist today and they did not say.

melvind wrote:You are exactly correct. An Edison J-19 Diamond Disc machine. A late, and not overly popular or common, model. But I like it because it is unique and not as big as some others. Decorations on the front are from various different woods.Lucius1958 wrote:
Let's see.... make starts with "E", and model starts with "J".
Other than that, I'm stumped (oak)...

I'm curious about that box Dan. The maroon "Edison Re-Creations" box. What's it for?

Re: Identify that grill
I wondered if anyone would notice it. I ran into it about 6 months ago. I have never seen another and have no idea if they are rare or not. But, it is really great. It contains index card dividers and is used to hold cards about records. The original owner wrote right on the dividers, but I suspect it was meant to hold cards for each record.Valecnik wrote:I'm curious about that box Dan. The maroon "Edison Re-Creations" box. Has anyone else seen one of these?

Hey, this thread is fun. I've a dozen or so grilles that I have no idea what they go to. I hope you don't mind helping to ID them. Here's the first one, it is 16 X 15 ¾ inches. Cheers, Russie Ofria
