Help model identification and year of gramophone Columbia
Hi everyone, congratulations for the wonderful forum, I am writing to you from Italy, I kindly ask the help of the experts to identify this gramophone. I would like to know the year of production and the model. The gramophone has a label with a musical note and written "Columbia Grafonola, Columbia records". I enclose photo. The gramophone is going to be restored, as can be seen from the photos, different parts are missing and will be used as a piece of furniture. Advice on restoration methods is also welcome. Thanks in advance. Sincerely. Alessio

Any other pictures available? This doesn't look like any Columbia that I have ever seen.

Re: Help model identification and year of gramophone Columbi
I'm wondering if it didn't start out life as a Columbia Client model. It's similar in style to the Standard, but there are hardware and trim differences, though the horn support and (from what I can see) the tonearm look like they may have been culled from Columbia's parts stock.
What really concerns me is the metal medallion affixed to the front of the cabinet. It looks like a Columbia records advertisement, not a decal or plate that Columbia would have put on their Disc Graphophone models. In any event, I've never seen one like that.
As for those tiny holes in the wood, it looks like the cabinet was/is infested with woodworm (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Woodworm) If I were you, I'd keep it isolated from all of your furniture until you confirm that they are dead.

- Hello OrthoFan, thank you very much for your contribution. The gramophone was photographed as it appeared just recovered from the grandparents' cellar. Currently I started the difficult restoration, possibly it was assembled with various parts or maybe repaired at the time. I enclose more photos, with some details, hoping it is possible to understand something more. At the moment it was disassembled, cleaned and disinfected by woodworms. Waiting for grouting and painting, maybe I will post the result when the restoration is finished! Thank you all. Yours truly.

To me this looks like a Swiss machine to which someone has affixed a Columbia tag. It may have been done many years ago, for some unknown reason
