In Fran's old article on the "Duncan Stop" out on APS, He (Fran) refers to it as a "Pivot Pin Retaining Screw" for the Pivot Block. Maybe he remembers where he got the name from..

Hi Tony,

I consulted as many patents as I could locate on the topic, and used the terminology to maintain continuity throughout my several Edison Diamond Disc Phonograph articles. Sometimes that meant combining single word descriptors with others, to form a cohesive compound designation.
