GRAMOFONO spanish model EUR 1,300

Post by Inigo »

Seems original, but is missing the horn. THe winding handle could also be a replacement. The motor has issues, for there is a strange noise.

Seems a lot of money for an incomplete single spring machine, rare though it might be. I am unfamiliar with Spanish HMV (La Voz De Su Amo). The front shows an HMV plaque contained within a letter shape. Do you know the significance of this?... assuming it's correct.

I wonder if there are any reprints of old catalogues of Spanish machines?

Of course it's genuine and it's very rare.

With horn it's a 2000 Euro machine so work back from that.

I have 2 Spanish machines and reprints of the HMV catalogues but it's taken me 6 years and a lot of money.
