I have seen several Circassian Walnut Victrolas and yours ranks with one of the finest. Simply beautiful. Please take the time to add it to the Featured Phonographs section of the forum so it will be easy to find in the future. Congratulations and well done.

I hope this is the right forum to ask this.... BUT, I happened to see a VV-230 the other day in, what I believe is this type of walnut. It was priced extremely fair, is it a diamond in the rough? Should I grab it? I think it was less than $350... working, etc.....
Sorry the dumb question, but I am the "off brand" guy that stumbles on good stuff sometimes... of course when I am out of room and funds, LOL.

I think the 230 is a beautiful machine in any wood-- It came in both American Walnut and in Circassian- If it is restorable, I'd grab it at that price. It will be beautiful!
