My point is that run of the mill Standards are common and cheap, but uninformed eBay sellers will now have a listing they can refer to that "justifies" a high listing price for a common machine, not realizing the difference between a common Standard and a very early one... Oh yeah, we got...

I think these were a dictation format a lot like the GE Play-Talk which used a magnetic disc head to record and playback sound. I would like to get my hands on one of these recorders in my pursuit of collecting odd audio recorders

Congrats on this early radio phono console! Personally (and this is just my preference and no slight on your purchase) I would like to get one of the Brunswick machines with the radiola just because it’s just so odd to see an RCA product with a non-Victor turntable that’s not a Frankenstein machine....
