A suggested new section

I wonder if it might be a good idea to have a 'Swap' section ?

So instead of selling an item you ask people to say what they would be willing to swap in exchange. Each of the parties would pay the postage for sending their own item.

It would not have to be a gramophone item - it could be anything, like model cars - and people could offer anything in exchange - like an old sewing machine etc.

A dedicated space for trading generally maybe suitable for the parlor.

This is a different suggestion that is excluded from the Yankee Trader Section as the guidelines state:

'Ads placed in the Yankee Trader section should be items you have for sale, or are looking to buy. All items posted here should at least be vaguely phonograph-related.


ie: including not gramophone related items and not for money.
