I have to say, and I think all will agree, that since David has updated this site it has worked almost flawlessly. I've also noticed that there's a bit more traffic on here recently. With the issues from last year things went kind of quiet here but lately I've noticed new members and more activity.

Thanks for the updates Dave and for making this site a beautiful and useful thing again.

Mike

I have a new PM from a member. When I click on the "Private Messages" icon, nothing happens. ???

Also, when I want to post a new topic and click on the icon, I get the message, "No post mode specified." ???

Just clicked on "POST REPLY" (red) icon to post this reply... seems to be working.

Posting reply works, yet you can't create a new post or access private messages. This happened overnight. I was able to post and PM last night before midnight PDT.

Right, posting replies does still work. Try going to your PM's or posting a NEW topic.

All of these issues should be fixed. While I was at it, we are now upgraded to the latest version of phpBB. Please let me know if you experience any issues. E-mail will get you the fastest response.

I know it’s the elephant in the room but I feel like the site took a couple of steps forward and five backwards when 12 years of attachments were lost. Any update on that?

Yes, this is the really big issue that we should all like solved. So much valuable knowledge has been lost due to the lack of photographs. Texts without accompanying photos are, more often than not, meaningless. What is the situation please David---can you get them back ?
