Refresh after "Mark Forums Read?"

On the old board when I clicked on "Mark Forums Read" the home page screen would reappear with the forum indicators returned to the unread state. Now on this new board, the indicators don't automatically vanish, I have to refresh the page before the indicators go to unread. Is there some way to make the new board function like the old one? I'm losing a lot of sleep over this....!
