Think: 2 unknown HMV soundboxes, EMG, Orthophon and so on…
I really don‘t know why it went so cheap.
I didn't see an EMG soundbox in this lot, but I might have missed something?
Not an EMG soundbox but I recall someone mentioning a pickup? Anyway, there were far more valuable items than that in the lot.
I just noticed that was my error, apologies all. I've corrected it above to EMI Angel (pickup)!

Probably because there were too many items in the lot. I've been at auctions where too many items are lumped together and the lot sells for little more than one item might have done on its own.
I was tempted, but yes - too many things which I would never have got around to using and in the end more money than I had spare (even though it was cheap for the contents).
The HMV No.18 soundboxes would have been great, but now they have been identified I don't personally need to own them. It's enough to know they exist/existed

A perfectly valid point of view, one which I am slowly learning to adopt!
