A picture of Summer.
This lady is relaxing to the sound of what looks like a Telefunken "Lido" portable.

I'm not sure about that, there seems to be a cockerel in the distance to the left of the gramophone so my guess would be it's a Pathéepigramophone wrote: ↑Thu Jun 08, 2023 3:11 am This lady is relaxing to the sound of what looks like a Telefunken "Lido" portable.

There's no record on the platter... but on the grass. The sleeve seems to be from Artiphon.
The Telefunken Lido sounds wonderful, I've seen it in yt videos and seems to be pretty similar to the HMV 101.

Indeed Iñigo, it is surprisingly good-sounding, despite its very small horn. The one I have, the more recent version from the 40s, with a Telefunken aluminium diaphragm, sounds better than a HMV101 and a 102! The initial version appeared in the 30s and had a mica diaphragm like the one in the photo. There is a French copy that resembles it externally (it is not made by Pathé), but it is bigger than the Telefunken.
