Hello,
Can someone who knows more about this British machine answer a question for me. Where the tone arm attaches to the front of the back bracket there appears to be a nut and clamp type arrangement. Is this correct or has it been repaired at some time??
thanks
Pete

Re: Question on Dulcephone?
This looks more like an Odeon ie German.
Dulcephone / Dulcetto usually had the name cast on the horn support. I presume you are reading the name off the soundbox?
Could you maybe post a pic of the motor?

Re: Question on Dulcephone?
I checked my literature. Your machine is definitely Odeon. The dual clip to attach the horn to the bracket is correct.

Re: Question on Dulcephone?
Hi US Phono,
This machine is listed for sale in my area. I was interested in it but have been unable to find any pictures on the internet to compare it to. It was first offered for sale at $900, then slowly came down in price. The fellow is now asking $600.00 The seller is calling it a Dulcephone but you say it might be a German machine. Does it appear to you to be all original.
thanks

Hi,
I just found this image of an Odeon Gramophone on the internet. It was one that Howard Hope from the U.K. had. It has a different horn but the cabinet sure looks the same!
