I think you have a newer version. My Maschine is from 1912-14' yours from the 1920's. Maybe you need a newer tonearm and an other soundbox too.

If you have a no. 34 Motor your machine maybe had a no. 2 soundbox. The automatisch speed Indicator appeared 1921, so your machine is from 1921 up to 1925. According to the turntable felt in brown i think it is from 1925. So it could be that it needs a HMV no. 4 soundbox.

Unfortunatly i do not have a catalogue from this time that gives information about it...
