Help identifying this model from Gramophone Company
My family owns this gramophone. I have tried to identify which model it is and from what year, but have not found anything quite like it from the web. Can anyone help us with this? Thanks!

The case design suggests that your machine is a Style No.7 produced from about 1900 to 1902, but which at some time in it's life has been updated with a tapered tonearm and back bracket to replace the original travelling arm.
Such conversions were not uncommon, and yours could have been done by a previous owner or by the factory.

Thank you very much for the information!
I did not manage to find any picture of Style No. 7 model. Does anyone happen to have a link to a picture of it? It would be interesting to see it.
And one more question: can one estimate the time of the conversion based on when this type of tonearm and bracket were used? (Given that they were new when replaced).

The Style No.7 is pictured and described in "His Master's Gramophone" ISBN 978-0-9567771-0-2 which is an indispensable reference for anyone interested in the acoustic machines sold by The Gramophone Company. Privately published in limited numbers, it was stocked by Amazon but may now have sold out, or you might be lucky enough to find a copy on eBay.
The tapered tonearm first appeared in late 1903, so your machine could have been converted whilst still relatively new. Beneath the back bracket and the wooden spacer you may find the screw holes for the original extension arm.

Well now, let's talk about the extension arm. Note that the machine has a metal motorboard. Much like a Zonophone. Also note a cutaway channel on the top left side of the cabinet, directly under said motorboard. Could the arm have been mounted onto the motorboard assembly like this example which is also Gramophone and Typewriter?

Thank you very much for the information and pictures! That certainly looks to be the same case. And I see now where the original arm was mounted.
This was valuable information, big thanks to all of you!
